When I ask managers to describe the best leaders they ever worked for, the majority of the time the word “coach” shows up. The word “coach” actually originated from the horse and buggy days. To coach meant to take someone from where they were to where they wanted to go.
This workshop is based on over twenty years of research and pragmatic application. There are critical behaviors required in being a coach, there is a process for the conversation, and one needs to practice the behaviors and process regularly in order for employees to see that you are a “good coach”. This course will provide you the process, the skills, and a bit of practice before it sends you back to the job a Manager As Coach.
